The Trick Becky G Used to Make Her Brown Eyes Pop
Now that Becky G and Austin Mahone have officially confirmed their relationship, we were expecting them to show up together at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards. We didn't get our wish, but that doesn't mean people weren't talking about Becky G on the white carpet. The singer's sheer and shimmery Charbel Zoe dress got the most attention, but what we couldn't stop staring at were her eyes — really! Her bold and defined brows, kitten eye, and long and lush eyelashes had us mesmerized. It turns out it only takes three simple steps to get the eye-opening effect.
To match her rose gold asymmetrical gown, makeup artist Etienne Ortega created a soft, smoky look using bronzes and browns, instead of black and gray, which gave Becky G a sultry and sexy stare that looked amazing on camera. The next step was to draw the singer's signature cat eye to give her eyes lift and definition. Etienne used the new CoverGirl Intensify Me! Liquid Eyeliner ($8). The superfine tip of the ebony eyeliner makes creating a straight and precise line really easy. For the long and spidery lashes, which make Becky G's eyes appear larger and more awake, Etienne chose CoverGirl The Super Sizer Mascara ($7). Apply three coats to your top lashes and one to lower ones.
