Gina Rodriguez Says There's Nothing She Wouldn't Do For a Laugh

When it comes to entertaining, Gina Rodriguez is game for anything. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Puerto Rican Jane the Virgin actress said there's no line she wouldn't cross or any situation she wouldn't put herself in to get the audience to laugh, saying, "I'm a brown girl, I have to cross all the lines." Gina is on the cover of the June 5, 2015, issue of the magazine alongside Lena Dunham, Amy Schumer, Ellie Kemper, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kate McKinnon. In a roundtable interview with her fellow leading ladies, Gina talks about how she feels about the touchy subjects her show portrays, saying, "It's nice to talk about things that are controversial. I really like the fact that I get to talk about abortion and pro-life and pro-choice," adding that the writers make sure the show "talks about social commentary without making judgement."
